You can now enroll in the Universal Preschool Program online and select ABC Child Development Centers & Bright School-Age Center locations as your preferred locations for your child.
- Preschool spaces at our ABC Central location will be reserved for families who need child care in addition to preschool.
- ABC Windsor, & ABC Windsor and ABC Ault will have a preschool-only option as well as Preschool with child care.
- We will offer preschool-only options at ABC East, and our program at ABC at Union Colony.
- Meals, snacks, free lunch, and free wipes are included.

About UPK – Universal Preschool Colorado
Universal Preschool (UPK) guarantees that all children in the year prior to kindergarten eligibility receive a half-day (15 hours per week) state-funded, voluntary preschool experience, starting in the 2024-2025 school year. Three-year-olds meeting qualifying factors can enroll in part-time (10 hours per week) preschool programming. Families with children in the pre-kindergarten year, meeting specific criteria, can also access an additional 15 hours added to the half-day program, resulting in full-day programming.

The initiation of this program, a result of voter-approved Proposition EE, reinforces Colorado’s enduring commitment to the well-being of children and families, ensuring they are esteemed, healthy, and flourishing. The UPK at ABC Child Development Centers offers families the flexibility to choose the right setting for their child in a licensed, community-based preschool program. ABC provides Preschool options at six locations in Greeley, Windsor, and Ault, including part-time programs for three-year-olds, as well as half-day and full-day options for four-year-olds. If your child is currently enrolled at ABC, they may have the opportunity to continue, with funding from universal preschool potentially assisting in offsetting current tuition expenses.
