ABC Curriculum Overview – Infants Through School Age
(Aligned with Colorado Early Learning Guidelines & Colorado Shines Level 5 Standards)
At ABC Child Development Centers & Bright School-Age Centers, our curriculum grows with your child from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Every classroom uses a theme-based, hands-on curriculum designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support all developmental domains.
We support each child individually through biannual developmental assessments and portfolios (Infant–Preschool) aligned with the Colorado Early Learning & Developmental Guidelines.
Infants (6 weeks – 11 months)
A calm, nurturing environment with responsive caregivers who follow your baby’s routine.

- Defined interest areas: math, science, literacy, art, dramatic play, sensory, blocks, writing & more to encourage meaningful exploration
- Balanced schedule of academics, routines, & hands-on exploration

- Universal Preschool Colorado partner (free UPK for qualifying families)
School Age (5 – 12 years)
High-quality before/after school care and full-day programs during breaks.
- Flexible hours: 6:15 AM – 6:15 PM, year-round
- Defined interest areas for a variety of experiences art, games, reading, and collaboration
- STEAM-based curriculum with cooking, science, building, challenges & projects
- Field trips included on full days out (bowling, Rollerland, swimming, laser tag, etc.)
- Snow days and unexpected day out
- Developmentally appropriate groups: Juniors (5–7) & Seniors (8–12)
- Summer Camp with field trips, specialty camps & free swim lessons
