In Ault and adjacent Colorado communities within Weld County, ABC Child Development and The Bright School-Age Centers present a range of Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs.

You can now enroll in the Universal Preschool Program online and select ABC Child Development Centers & Bright School-Age Center locations as your preferred locations for your child.
- Preschool spaces at our ABC Central location will be reserved for families who need child care in addition to preschool.
- ABC Windsor, & ABC Ault and ABC Ault will have a preschool-only option as well as Preschool with child care.
- We will offer preschool-only options at ABC East, and our program at ABC at Union Colony.
- Meals, snacks, free lunch, and free wipes are included.

About UPK – Universal Preschool Colorado
Universal Preschool (UPK) ensures that each child in the year preceding kindergarten eligibility benefits from a half-day (15 hours per week) state-funded, voluntary preschool experience, starting in the 2024-2025 school year. Three-year-olds meeting qualifying criteria can participate in part-time (10 hours per week) preschool programming. Families with children in the pre-kindergarten year, meeting certain criteria, are also eligible for an extra 15 hours integrated into the half-day program, providing full-day programming.

This program’s launch, a consequence of the voter-approved Proposition EE, underscores Colorado’s enduring commitment to children and families, ensuring their recognition, well-being, and success. ABC Child Development Centers’ UPK empowers families to choose the optimal environment for their child in a licensed, community-based preschool program. With Preschool options available at six locations in Greeley, Windsor, and Ault, ABC provides part-time programs for three-year-olds, as well as half-day and full-day options for four-year-olds. If your child is already attending ABC, they may have the chance to continue, with universal preschool funding potentially alleviating current tuition expenses.
