You can now enroll in the Universal Preschool Program online and select ABC Child Development Centers & Bright School-Age Center locations as your preferred locations for your child.
- Preschool spaces at our ABC Central location will be reserved for families who need child care in addition to preschool.
- ABC Windsor, & ABC West and ABC Ault will have a preschool-only option as well as Preschool with child care.
- We will offer preschool-only options at ABC East, and our program at ABC at Union Colony.
- Meals, snacks, free lunch, and free wipes are included.

About UPK – Universal Preschool Colorado
Universal Preschool (UPK) ensures that every child in the year before they are eligible for kindergarten receives a half-day (15 hours per week) state-funded, voluntary preschool experience, beginning in the 2024/2025 school year. 3 year-olds with qualifying factors are eligible for part-time (10 hours per week) preschool programming. Families of children in the year before they are eligible for kindergarten, with certain qualifying factors, are also eligible for an additional 15 hours stacked on top of the half-day programming, bringing those children to full-day programming.
High quality preschool programs are known to aid in a child’s development and to have social, academic, and economic benefits that are carried with that child throughout their life. The launch of this program, as a result of the voter-approved Proposition EE, builds on Colorado’s long-standing commitment to children and families and helps ensure that they are valued, healthy and thriving.
UPK at ABC Child Development Centers allows families to choose the right setting for their child in a high quality, licensed, community-based preschool program. ABC will have options for Preschool at 6 locations throughout Greeley, Windsor and Ault. There will be part-time programming for 3 year-olds, as well as half-day and full-day programming for 4 year-olds available. Is your child already attending ABC? They may be able to stay where they are, and the funding for universal preschool can be used to help off-set the cost of tuition that you are currently paying.
