Assessments and Portfolios

We know that all children develop uniquely, so our staff is trained to take the curriculum and individualize it to ensure your child is getting the most enjoyable and developmentally appropriate experience while in our care. Throughout the year, staff at our Large Center locations will use our in-house developmental checklists to monitor your child’s growth. Conferences are offered twice a year, so parents and staff have the opportunity to work together for the benefit of the child. Our in-house developmental checklists are also carefully aligned with the Colorado Early Learning Guidelines. In addition to assessments, each classroom keeps a portfolio of your child’s work filled with pictures, art samples, and more. As your child transitions from one classroom to the next, the portfolio becomes yours and is a fun and informative way to track and monitor your child’s progress with us.
