You can now enroll in the Universal Preschool Program online and select ABC Child Development Centers & Bright School-Age Center locations as your preferred locations for your child.
- Preschool spaces at our ABC Central location will be reserved for families who need child care in addition to preschool.
- ABC Windsor, & ABC West and ABC Ault will have a preschool-only option as well as Preschool with child care.
- We will offer preschool-only options at ABC East, and our program at ABC at Union Colony.
- Meals, snacks, free lunch, and free wipes are included.

About UPK – Universal Preschool Colorado
Universal Preschool (UPK) ensures that all children in the year before they become eligible for kindergarten enjoy a half-day (15 hours per week) state-funded, voluntary preschool experience, starting in the 2024/2025 school year. Qualifying three-year-olds can engage in part-time (10 hours per week) preschool programming. Families with children in the pre-kindergarten year, meeting specified criteria, are additionally eligible for an extra 15 hours integrated into the half-day schedule, offering full-day programming.

The initiation of this program, a result of the voter-approved Proposition EE, underscores Colorado’s unwavering commitment to children and families, ensuring their value, health, and prosperity. The UPK at ABC Child Development Centers provides families the option to choose the ideal setting for their child in a licensed, community-based preschool program. ABC offers Preschool options at six locations in Greeley, Windsor, and Ault, including part-time programs for three-year-olds, as well as half-day and full-day options for four-year-olds. If your child is already attending ABC, they may have the chance to continue, with funding from universal preschool potentially offsetting current tuition expenses.
